Obituary:
Anna was born on September 13, 1896 in Aalborg (this should be Hjorring), Denmark the daughter of Iver and Anna Jorgensen. She grew up and attended schools in Denmark. In 1910, Anna and her family came to the United States settling in the Sidney area, where they farmed. Anna married Hugh Morrison in Sidney. Following his death, she worked as a receptionist for dentist, Dr. I.J. Peterson, Sr. Anna was united in marriage to Dr. I.J. Peterson, Sr., in 1931 at Rock Island, Illinois. They returned to Sidney where she continued working at the dental office. Dr. Peterson died in April of 1965 and Anna continued to live in Sidney. She entered Richland Homes in May of 1990.
Anna was a member of the Peoples' Congregational Church and the Mayflower Circle, Eastern Star, Nile Club, was Mother Advisor of the Order of Rainbow for Girls, and was a Gold Star Mother during WWII. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and sewing. Anna especially enjoyed the family gatherings.
Anna died on Thursday, February 28, 1991 at the Sidney Community Memorial Hospital.
Surviving her are, two sons, Ivan Peterson, Jr. and Gordon Morrison both of Sidney, Montana; a daughter, Alice Loman (Schupp) of Seattle, Washington; a sister, Esther Pritchard of Sun City, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, three daughters, a grandson and five brothers.
