About

My name is Christopher Fritz. I began genealogy in November, 2011. In the first almost-year of building my family tree, there have been many times I’d have liked a place to write about the findings and failures to find. For this reason, I’ve started this blog. I will occasionally also write about Gramps, the family tree software I use.

Before I started my family tree, I could count my non-immediate family on my fingers. The family tree started out as more of a family sapling, with no expectation to grow — that is, until it met with the resources available through the Internet. Now my little sapling is quickly growing, branch by branch, one leaf at a time.
